Clientel project

Okay, lets make this short, sweet, and to the point. When doing the clientel project make sure you get into a group with hard workers. Step 2 make sure you understand the project in its entirity. Step 3, always make sure you have someone takeing notes on the project when it is introduced. Finally, start the project as soon as you can, believe me you don't want to put it off.
That is pretty much all of the advice i can think of for the moment, Good luck.

I am bored

When i am bored i come up with wierd ideas. Have you ever thought about ageing, exsistance, choices, and timelines. This is an interesting philisopichal idea that have been messing with. Suppose that we don't age how scientist say we do with the whole cell division thing, and i do not mean aging in the literal since on its own. Suppose that life is made up of many different paths and are choices send us down thoses paths, however are concences can only follow one path even though i believe their are many different paths therefor many different existences. Down each one of theses paths is a different you in literal, physical, emotional, mental, and spirital since. Now as you can see are being is made by are choices so are being is not be by one cell becoming two. Now that, that idea, has been pushed aside, lets talk about how we age into this being exam how are bodie ages and dies. In the beginning the changes are notable and fast later in life not so much. So how does this happen why change so early in the grand scheme of things. A simple explenation also has to do the the different existance parts mentioned earlier. As we all know according to religion we have a soul and cannot survive with out it. now when we are born we take one whole and pure soul and live with it. It is ours and we influence it. Now when We make are first concience and uninfluenced decesion, i believe that that soul splits or divides in half if you will. We follow the existance line of the choice we made and the half of the soul follows the other line of existance. So you see the soul constently divides from a half to a fourth to an eights etc... and the planes of existances also divide their pieces of souls. Now that we have that established you see that we age because the amount of soul in your body and why we age so fast early is because of the differences between whole and half are large where as later after many choices the difference between 1/16000000 and what ever comes after are small so less change in the being. And of course once the sliver of soul is not strong enough to support you anymore you die. As i said i am bored and could explain this in greater detail and depth in person

i read the article on application personalities and i must say that it was hard to reflect on it at the time that i am writing it now, just because of the game last night and how i am feeling this morning. However i will try my best to reflect on the matter. I agree with the employeers, they may have plenty of room to employe people but they really need to be picky when they higher someone. They need to higher someone who will be able to contribute the necessary skill to help the business grow and succeed. Lets face it the business world has gotten more competitve so they need to be picky in who they give a job to.

Duel Coding

A prime example of Duel coding in advertisement are sport comercials. You know when they advertise a product by using a star athlete or a team that is doing well. That way whenever you think of that team or watch them play you automatically think of that commercial and the product that it was selling. Most americans are really into sports to begin with so it is of know suprise that people use this for their advertisement. Let me give you an example, what do you think of when you hear the word Nike, well since i am a big basketball fan i think of micheal Jordan. He has done so many nike commercials that they started to name the shoes after him (air jordans). So in other words they are persuasive because of his celebrity status.

Group work doesn't require to much to work. You just have to be flexiable and take everyones point of view into consideration. You must also put your fair share of work in. do these to things and everything will work out. So far our group has not had any difficulties in any shape or form, involving group work, no miscommunications at all. The only thing that has been troubling us is just getting time to meet. If we can't do that then we have to use other forms of communications such as cell phone and e-mail. I believe that our success is due to the fact that we all know one another. Other than that haven't really learned anything new about group work.

free speech in the classroom

This week i was given a project in my classroom, it was a speech to be presented. The speech was a persuasive one were you must pick a side. Now normally this is a normal project for most people, however there were some stipulations to go along with it. We were not allowed to touch certain topics no matter if we choose the pro or con side of the argument. Topics given to us to avoid were such things as abortion and religon along with many more. Now i do respect this, but at the same time should we not be treated as adults. As adults we should be able to argue are views on the matter with out anything more than an argument from the opposing side, and part of being an adult is tolerance and/or acceptance of anothers point of view. Now i just wrote this because it was a free write this week for class however if anyone feels like answering whether or not they agree or disagree i say go for it.

Well seeing as how i have gotten a free week to type this blog i have decided to rant about the Clemson VT game. So far from what i have seen take place in the first two quarters we have basically sucked. Now i am a hard core Clemson fan so it hurts me to write this, but i have got to remain objective in order to be fair. I thought that VT offence was good however i did not believe that they would be this good they have played well tonight i will give them that. Clemson defense has played well also and in order to keep the score as low as they have on offensive drives (remember a lot of it was special teams fault). What i wanted to rant about is our special teams and offense. True they could be having an off night however i believe they really need some work in order to be as good as they could be. Of course special teams needed work last year to. I mean they let what two returns in for a touch down and almost a third if a flag hadn't been thrown. Offense, what bugged me about them tonight was something that was not the norm for them. Harper kept throwing the ball behind the line of scrimage and into traffic instead of look down field even just a yard. Now before anyone disagrees with me saying this i understand that i shouldn't say anything unless i played too, but this was on my mind at the time i wrote the blog.

I read the artical on job hopping. Now while i agree with the artical on some points such as how to down play your job hopping and how it is accepted better now than it was ten years ago. I feel that it is pertaining to people older than us, because at our age jobs are jobs at an older age jobs are careers. Do you understand what i am saying at our age it is good to hop around because it gives us a broad area of experince, plus at our age we are going to be moving when ever a job pays more. Now on to that fact of being old, while i said that i agree with most of this article that does not mean all of it. For instance while yes i do believe that switching jobs like 5 times in two years is a bad thing. This is mostly because it shows that you are unstable as an employee and employers won't be able to depend on you for long. A good thing about switching jobs often enough say 5 times in 6 or 7 years shows that you have a varity of experince to bring to the work force. As i have said before there are two sides to every coin.

I chose the article on weather or not you should remove your wedding band or engagement ring at a job interview. I agree with the responses to the articles somewhat. Most of the responses say that you need to be yourself. However I do think that they are lying through their teeth. While I do believe that some people will actually be them selves in an interview others will not. Lets face it some people will take off there wedding band or engagement ring if it gets them a job. Let’s face it as you get older you learn a few things about life and they are not all that pleasant. The biggest one that I am talking about is sex sells, and I do mean this both ways, it will help you get a job if you use it right. If your a women and you are single being interviewed by a man he will look more favorably on you if you are single. The same goes for vice versa, and I know you may want to deny and the people interviewing may not even do it consciously, but it does happen. To a lesser extent if you are not tied down by a family then it allows you to put more time and energy into you job so that is also useful for pretending you are single. Lets just face it people are always going to act in a predictable way.

10 years later

Seeing as how I was never one for making very specific plans for anything more than a day in advance, where I want to be in ten years raises an interesting question. However, there are a few things that I do know. First, I do not wish to leave Clemson University anytime soon. That does not mean I am staying for a masters, haven’t really decided that I want that yet, but I will be staying an extra year doing whatever. I believe that I will more than likely work on a minor, but I also want to experience whatever I can when I can. You see my personality is really laid back to the point most people will call me lazy, which I am not I do accomplish everything that I need to do I just take life and sort of roll with it, enjoy it, and take my time with it. It takes quite a bit of work to push me out of this “center” (I guess would be a good word for it. Let’s see what else do I wish to accomplish in ten year; I suppose that a career would be good. I have never been one that has depended on material need and gain (which is hilarious when you think about it because I am an accountant which is basically all we deal in), I just want enough to support me and whoever comes my way. I will more than likely act like my father in this aspect of life. I will not go in to explaining my father’s principles in this aspect because it will take to long. Finally I guess I hope to be married before 26; this I find is my only definite in life. One reason is that I do not want to be told old to enjoy my kids. Two is that I believe I am somewhat of a romantic, or it least that is what some reliable sources have told me and I want to enjoy being with what I hope is the perfect woman for me for as long as possible.

The title of this video is web 2.0, what it means is that the internet has grown or advance. It is not so much that it has technologically advanced, but that the people who are using it and what they are using it for has grown and changed. All of the people contribute ideas when they log on allowing for the the internet to change it use. These ideas are then circulated allowing for the indivdual person to convey knowledge. the Internet is no longer condsidered a knowledge base but a way to connect to the individual person. It is now a means of communication. People who are preparing to enter the work for use the web to prepare anything from finding the job to learning about the job that they are going into. If you are already in a career then besides the information gathering that the web provides business now conduct business on the web in order to streamline the process. It is true that we will have to rethink several things such as the subjects mentioned at the end of the clip i watched to write this blog. The reason being is that online it gets a little harder to define as who did what, who came up with the original idea and who riped them off. Also as it mentioned commerce because of business online you have to be able to trust who you buy from since they are not visable. I believe the best way to put this is that there must be a huge amount of trust in order for the web to work and since there isn't we must think up new ways to define, change, and enforce the words that were mentioned at the end of this video. Let's face people have trouble trusting anything that is tangiable.

Welcome

Hi my name is Will, I am 21 and attending college and am a Junior. A little about myself average height, dark blond hair, and a love of sports. I am in to just about any sport and have played just about all of them. I like to workout and party with friends. However, I take things at my own pace, I guess most people would call me lazy, but for me nothing beats relaxing. Whether it be at the beach in a hammack or at home in a favorite chair. The last thing is I am in to music more of the stuff from 1990's and late 80's, and I pretty much like it all. However, I cannot handle country and classical in big doses.
